We photographed a great family session of Chris, Nicole, and their daughter at their home. They had a gorgeous home for us to do the portraits at. It was pretty cold outside and super windy, but they wanted a few photos outside of the house. We started with those in more casual clothes. Then we moved inside and did a more high end fashion look. Nicole looked stunning! Chris didn't look so bad himself either! While the baby was having dinner with grandma and grandpa, we did portraits with just Nicole and Chris. We knew we could get pretty creative with these two.
Nicole had a few ideas that she really wanted to do. She showed us some of her inspiration and we took it from there. Chris had a really nice home office that was perfect for this idea. We moved a little bit of furniture around while the couple was freshening up. We brought in some lighting and did a few lighting tests. Then we were ready for Nicole and Chris to come in. We explained the posing we wanted for this. Chris had it nice and easy sitting in the chair. Nicole had some really sexy heels on, and we had to get her foot placement perfect. It was a little uncomfortable, but on our end, she looked gorgeous! We did a few smiles for the camera, then had them get serious. This image definitely had the serious feel to it!
This couple was guests at a wedding we photographed a few months earlier. Little did we know at the time, they were also planning their wedding. They contacted us a few weeks after the friends wedding and wanted to come to our studio to chat about their plans. They were also interested in doing a family session. That is how the ideas started to flow and them wanting to do the session at their home. Next up, we are off to Destin, Florida for the couple's wedding in April of 2019!
