A great part of the wedding day is the newlyweds first dance at their reception. There is so much love and emotion going on.
Country Matt from the hit show Pitbulls and Parolees married the stunning Jill in Buffalo, NY. Their wedding ceremony and reception took place at Pearl Street Grill and Brewery in downtown Buffalo.
You can just feel the love and connection of this bride and groom in this photo. They are definitely in their own world and nobody else seems to matter, except the two of them at that moment.
A first dance should feel that way. You are dancing with the one you love and to a favorite song that will be with you forever. The emotion and happiness on their faces is priceless.
Matt and Jill had a super vintage style wedding. Pearl Street is great for that style. Their wedding took place in June of 2016. They got ready right next store at the Pearl at the Webb Hotel. We did a first look with the couple in one of the hotel rooms. Then the wedding party joined them and we headed for photos at Tift Nature Preserve in Buffalo. We had about 20 minutes to get all of the wedding party and bride and groom portraits. Getting ready ran a bit late.
To help enhance an image, especially during the reception is to hope the venue has some kind of string lights or chandeliers. Trying to shoot with these in the back, create a photography term called a boca. The glow and patterns the lights create can be so pretty. You can tell by the pattern in the photo here. Pearl Street has lights like these on every floor in the venue.
This is also a favorite first dance photo for us. It is so timeless and a memory that will never be forgotten because we captured it for this amazing couple.
