This lovely couple, Emily and Brandon had an amazing wedding on December 31st, 2018! We had such a great time ringing in the New Year with this couple and their families. The relationship started on their engagement session that included an old vintage car and ended on Emily's family boat. It was a foggy and rainy day, but we love photographing in crazy weather. We got some gorgeous images!
Taking us into the wedding day, the Bride and Groom really wanted snow. Instead, it was a little too warm and it rained again. No worries, there. We still managed to get images with sparklers and inside the gorgeous Rapid's Theatre in Niagara Falls. Emily got ready at an old vintage home that is part of Freedom Run Winery. It was the perfect location for the Bride-to-be and her Bridesmaids to get ready! Brandon and his Groomsmen were just down the road at a family house to get ready.
The couple was married in a family church called All Saints Roman Catholic Church in Lockport, NY. The church and ceremony were beautiful. After the family portraits at the church, we headed right to the reception venue for photos of the wedding party and the newlyweds. Rapid's is one of our favorite venues to photograph in. Neal loves to be able to work with the lighting technician. This is exactly what you see in this image. It was just after midnight and 2019 had begun. Neal was working with the lighting and effects tech and asked for more smoke and adjustment of the lights to create the look in this image! The spotlights looked awesome! We added some backlighting for this image to help with the silhouette. Then we asked for a kiss! This was such a great image to end the night for this beautiful couple!
