Jill and Nick had their wedding October 28th, 2016. They had everything at the Foundry Suites in Buffalo. They both got ready there. There ceremony was in an outside courtyard and the reception followed inside!
The rooms in the Foundry are so nice to photograph at. A lot of them have huge windows and an industrial feel. When both the bride and groom get ready at the same location, it is so much easier for us. We can jump back and forth between both of them for photos. I usually stay with bride and bridesmaids and work on the details, while Neal heads to see the groom and groomsmen. That was exactly what we did here.
Neal went up to the room Nick was in. He got some amazing images there. They actually snuck their dog in because he was going to be the ring bearer for the wedding. But, he was there early and in the room getting ready as well! His name is Bentley! We love him!
Neal had photographed Nick a long time ago. Nick used to do modeling and always contacted Neal for headshot and portfolio sessions. We were so excited when he contacted for his wedding.
This is a ring shot we like to do with the groom if it's possible. They usually have the rings, but not always. I love everything about this image. Nick looks so good in his suit. He had it custom made. The color was great and it paired so well with the deep purple of the bridesmaids dresses. You can see the color in his bowtie and pocket square.
All Neal had the groom do, was hold out the rings and lean up against the wall. I love the angle of this shot and how you can see just part of Nick's face looking down at the rings. I even like how he is holding his suit jacket closed with the other hand.
This is such a great groom portrait!
