This was such an emotional wedding at the Sterling at Arrowhead Golf Course. The bride and groom both got ready at the venue. The ceremony also took place outdoors at the location. Neal Urban Weddings did photos with both the bride and groom separately before the ceremony was to take place. After the vows, we all hopped in a golf cart and rode around the course for wedding portraits with the newlyweds.
The new husband and wife really wanted some dramatic Neal Urban style photos. This image was taken during the reception. Behind those doors is a storage closet, but you would never know. We set some lighting up behind them to see what kind of effects we could have. Then needed to have the couple stand with their profiles facing the camera. Pretty simple when you think about it, but it was a little complicated. We had to make sure spacing of the bride and groom was perfect and posing was not overdone.
It was a fun way to wrap up the wedding at the Sterling!
