Neal Urban Weddings used to do a lot of destination weddings a while back. It started to take a toll and was not easy to bring all of the camera gear we wanted. People thought we were enjoying ourselves on a mini vacation. Absolutely not. Neal Urban Portraits is working from the time we got off the plane to the time we get back on. This destination wedding was one that we could not resist. We had worked with the couple for their engagement portraits. They were still in the planning stages of the wedding at the time. Then it was a go in Destin Florida!
Neal Urban Photography was so excited. Both families were amazing to work with as well. Wedding portraits were done at Alys Beach. We felt like we were somewhere in Greece (not that we had ever been, but the Travel Channel does wonders). Neal Urban Studio had planned out the locations we wanted to use for the bride and groom. The lighting in this area was gorgeous. The brides dress sparkled like crazy. Just a simple walking away from the camera toward the light!
Next up was the ceremony at Walton Beach and onto The Pearl Hotel for the reception. The Pearl was such a cute boutique hotel. They had the roof top terrace for the reception. The story of this wedding was so good. And it can be seen in the handcrafted leather album Neal Urban Weddings designed for them. Just stunning!
