Laura and Dan reside right outside of Washington, DC. They had a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Ceresville Mansion in Frederick, Maryland. It was a gorgeous venue for our destination wedding!
The bride and groom both got ready at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington, DC. It was located right in the heart of the city. It was only about ten blocks from the White House! We were in heaven!
We arrived the day before the wedding to check out the area. Laura and Dan wanted their photos done at the National Mall and Memorial Park. This included views of the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and Capitol Building. It was amazing!
We jumped in their limo and headed out with the wedding party! It was impossible for us to drive our own car. There is absolutely no parking down there. It was crawling with tourists, but we managed to get some amazing images all over that area. Some even included the tourists!
After photos, we headed to the Mansion for the ceremony and reception. This was taken about ten minutes before the ceremony. Laura and Dan are huge dog lovers and Moscato, the ring bearer, was going to be walking down the aisle.
The bride wanted some alone time with Moscato! This image was so funny to take. We had to keep bribing the dog with treats to stay on the couch with Laura. He did not want to be up there. Then, he gave a look to Laura and we knew this was the shot! We loved the expression on the brides face. Then there is Moscato. His tongue was sticking out. He was waiting for his treats on a job well done.
This room at the Mansion was great for photos. Lighting was amazing! This image was taken on the brighter side as well. We wanted it to have a super light, and airy feel! It was a great way to calm the nerves before the I DO's!
