Jenna and her father are very very close. He was with her when she went wedding dress shopping and through all of the planning of the wedding. The father of the bride is the owner of Status Limo and we have worked with the company hundreds of times. We were so excited be a part of his daughter's wedding!
Jenna and her bridesmaids got ready at a friends condo at the Avant Buffalo. The room was perfect with giant windows and beautiful natural light. After doing a first look with dad in the room, we took Jenna for some bridal portraits down the hall. We moved some furniture so we could have a nice open space for her. This location was nice because you could see the Statler across the street where the reception was to be held.
As we were doing portraits with the bride, the father of the bride came strolling over with a giant bottle of champagne and two glasses! He went right over to his daughter and poured her a glass. They started talking and both started laughing. He couldn't even keep pouring at one point they were laughing so hard. It was a great way to calm the nerves! This was such a great moment with Jenna and her father. There are not many times during a wedding where the bride and her father can be completely alone (well with us documenting).
Then we were off to Trinity Episcopal church for the ceremony. After family portraits we headed to the Curtis Hotel for photos with the bride and groom. Then we stopped at Niagara Square and City Hall for bridal party photos before the reception in the Golden Ballroom at the Statler.
