Jocelyn and Chris had an amazing wedding! The ceremony was at St. Joseph Cathedral in downtown Buffalo. The wedding reception was at the Columns Banquets in Elma. The couple was stunning! We did their engagement session at Knox Farm State Park. They looked like hollywood movie stars! After the engagement, we knew the wedding photos would be gorgeous!
For photos after the ceremony, we headed to Gallagher Pier. With a wedding party consisting of 17 Bridesmaids, 9 Groomsmen, and 9 children, we knew we had to step up our game for posing! After doing some formal style images, we really wanted to focus on the newlyweds! We also still wanted some of the bridal party involved. We had the bridal party hang out in the background and placed Jocelyn and Chris in the foreground. We wanted them to feel like they were in their own world and in the moment. We did not do any formal posing. We asked them to get nice and close. The Groom went to whisper something into his wife's ear and we asked her to look at the camera. We wonder what he said to her! Then he slowly moved away. We love how Chris has that little smile on his face! Then we sent the wedding party back to the limo and kept the Bride and Groom for some portraits. We like to send the party away, so we can get some really intimate moments with the couple. The Bridal Party loves is because they can go party on the limo!
The Columns did a beautiful job (as always). The reception room looked gorgeous! The party started right away and everyone was on the dance floor. It was packed the entire night. It was such a pleasure photographing this couple's wedding!
