Destination weddings can always be tricky, especially going into the unknown. Neal Urban Weddings could not wait for the challenge for this wedding in Destin Florida. We arrived two days before the wedding, so we could scout out the area. The couple threw out some locations they liked for photos and wanted Neal Urban Studio to see if they would be good!
Alys Beach was number one on the bride's list for portraits. All the hotels and condos provide bike services because it is the easiest way to get around. Neal Urban Photography took advantage and biked around the area to scout it out. Alys beach was a private condo residence and only supposed to be there for photos if the wedding was booked there. Well, being from out of town, rules can sometimes go out the door. Neal Urban Photography was only going to have the bride and groom for portraits, so we could be discreet. Alys beach looked like you were in Greece. There were winding staircases and little nooks filled with greenery everywhere. It completely fit the style of these newlyweds.
To top it off, their reception was at a boutique hotel call The Pearl Hotel. Completely different vibe from Alys Beach, but amazing contrast to fit the vibe of the day!
