Jaclyn and Darryl took us on their honeymoon to Sandals Grande Antigua Resort in Antigua for destination photos. We were so excited and wanted to create some magic for them. We were photographing their wedding back home at the Lockport Locks in Lockport, NY a few days before the trip.
We created something that would include multiple sessions. We did not want to go all that way for one shoot. We did photos at sunrise and sunset. We really did not take up much of their time either.
For one of their shoots, they got into their wedding attire. Jaclyn packed her wedding dress and Darryl his tuxedo. We scoped out the resort earlier and knew the areas we wanted to work at. Then we took a walk down the beach. We ran into some guests that said there was an abandoned boat down the beach and we should check it out. We had to go. On the way we saw this old telephone booth. It was right on the beach. We were definitely stopping here on the walk back. Neal wanted it to be a little darker outside.
The booth was in between giant palm trees. We had to have Darryl hold a light inside of the booth to light them up. Then I stood outside with another light for their faces. It was amazing! We could not believe we found this. Neal and I were so excited. We couldn't resist. We had to show the bride and groom the photo right out of the camera. They were in awe! They knew we would get some out of this world images. That's why they wanted us to come!
The entire time we were there, we got images that were better than the previous! We could not be happier with the results. Jaclyn and Darryl ended up with two wedding albums and two sets of wall art for their home!
