Jocelyn and Chris had a beautiful day for their engagement session at Knox Farm State Park. We started off the session in more casual outfits. Yes, they are still dressy, but they went black tie style for the second. We walked around to different parts of the park for this and found this cute little wooden flat bed. There were all these yellow wild flowers in the back ground and the sun was shining through. It was going to look so good with their outfits. The angle of the sun makes the couple glow! The trees in the foreground were lit up too and we wanted to have those frame Jocelyn and Chris in the image.
We always like to offer two different outfits for our engagement sessions. Knox Farm is so nice to do this. There are rustic barns and fences, horse barns and trails, ponds, apple trees, and many tree lined roads. There is also a house on site where they host weddings. So many things to photograph and completely different styles all in the same location! The bride and groom to be went super dressy for their next outfit. We waited until right after sunset to do those! Red carpet style!
Their wedding was going to be just as beautiful as the engagement session. The ceremony would be at St. Joseph's Cathedral in downtown Buffalo. We were planning on doing pictures at Gallagher Pier and the reception to follow at the Columns Banquets in Elma!
Location: 437 Buffalo Rd. East Aurora NY 14052.
