The Sterling at Arrowhead Golf Club is a great venue for a wedding. There is a gorgeous reception building completely separate from the courses main area. Sterling also has a beautiful island for a ceremony. After rescheduling their wedding due to Covid it was finally Marie and Joe’s big day!
Neal Urban Photography had photographed Marie and Joe’s engagement session. It was an extremely cold day. Location was Fort Niagara State Park. Neal Urban Studio actually took the couple into the Old Fort. This is a favorite location of ours to photograph at. To top it off, we had the most beautiful sunset the evening of the engagement session!
This bride and groom had a July wedding and it was raining on and off. Ceremony was supposed to be outdoors on the island, but last minute call was to move it under the patio. It was still the perfect ceremony! Everything took place at the Sterling. Getting ready, portraits, first look, ceremony, and reception. Marie and Joe’s first look was so emotional. It was just the two of them and the groom could let his guard down! So many cries, laughs, and smiles all tied into one.
After the first look, Neal Urban Photography went into studio portrait mode since we could not do photos outdoors yet. Luckily, the Sterling has an upstairs loft with sitting area we could use for posing. It ended up working out really well! Neal Urban started with photos of the bride and groom to be, then brought in the wedding party. It consisted of their children. What a great idea! Most of the time after it rains, Neal Urban hopes for a killer sunset. Marie and Joe’s wedding day did not disappoint on that either. It was deja vu. The sunset colors looked almost identical to their engagement session evening. It could not have worked out better!
Marie and Joe had Neal Urban Studio design a beautiful album for their engagement session, as well as a large wall print with antique frame. Now that the wedding day is complete, it’s time to create that wedding album!
