Would you just look at this view for Vivian and Eric’s wedding ceremony! If you want to travel to Cabo San Lucas for a relaxing vacation style resort, check out the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos All Inclusive Golf Resort and Spa. It is kid friendly! However, it is not a super crazy party resort. Everything is a bit calmer. Don’t worry there is still a disco tech (night club)! The views from the lobby bar are pretty cool as well!
We are not going to lie, when Neal Urban Photography saw the ceremony location (The Whale’s Terrace), we were a little nervous. It was right in the heart of the resorts pool area. We were nervous non guests would be walking through and interfere with the ceremony. Low and behold, not one person interrupted or walked through the area. The staff at Grand Fiesta, along with Momentos Weddings and Events Los Cabos, had people stationed around the area. Some guests had drinks and watched from a distance in the pool. That was fun!
Both mother and father of the bride walked Vivian down the aisle. It was so perfect! The groom was just as excited and emotional to see his bride as he was when they did their first look. Happy tears for everyone all around! The wedding ceremony took place a little before sunset, so there was a nice breeze coming off the water. Thank goodness for all! There was also no shortage of drinking water (and beer)!
Neal Urban Photography loved there was an upper level to the terrace. Neal Urban was able to capture some very wide angle shots of the entire ceremony with the beach behind. We were also able to move around to get the best angles for photos as well. Vivian and Eric said to do what we needed to do to get amazing photos!
Instead of lighting a unity candle, they did an exchange of wine! We did this for our wedding back in 2012! If you are first time readers, we are a husband and wife photography team. We got married at Kunde Estate Winery in Sonoma CA. So seeing Vivian and Eric do something similar during their vows took us back to our big day!
Right after the ceremony, Neal Urban Studio did the family portraits. Everyone was great for this part. They were all supposed to head right into cocktail hour (who doesn’t want to miss that). We were able to get through everything in ten minutes. The family was so happy. Their job for the day was done! Time to party! But first, a few more portraits of the bride and groom on the beach as the sun was setting!
