Brooke and Gabriel were married in 2010 in the NYC. Brooke's family was from the Buffalo NY area, but they wanted to have the wedding in NYC. Neal Urban Photography was so excited when Brooke and Gabe contacted. They were amazing and such great people. The bride and groom had so many ideas for photos all over NYC and areas of Manhattan!
The wedding would take place at St. Joseph's of Yorkville Catholic Church. Neal Urban Weddings was also photographing the rehearsal and met the bride, groom, and families for the first time in person at this church. The rehearsal dinner would be at The Modern. An upscale and swanky restaurant. So fun for some engagement style photos.
A lot of guests from out of town would be staying at NYC Marriott Courtyard Upper East Side in the City. Right in then heart of the City. The bride and groom looked amazing. The brides dress was gorgeous. After family portraits at St. Joseph's of Yorkville Catholic Church, Neal Urban Photography hopped on the wedding party limo, as it would be impossible for us to follow in our own car around NYC! Photo locations included Grand Central Station, the stairs of the New York Public Library, and even using taxi cabs. Side note: The New York Public Library was featured in the 1984 film Ghostbusters!
This image was taken with the newly married husband and wife, with their wedding party right after the church ceremony. It was game time to hit the City and have some fun with Neal Urban Wedding for photos! This image really shows off the bride and grooms personalities. Super fun!
The wedding reception dinner took place at Bouley Restaurant. The entire wedding was very intimate. The dinner was in a wine cellar cavelike room. Dark, moody, and candlelit. Then there was an after party at Ward III.
A few months later the bride and groom would head to Buffalo NY for a larger afternoon wedding reception. Neal Urban Photography could not wait to see them again and their families. Now it was time for party photos and more family photos of guests that could not attend the wedding. This took place at Glen Oak Golf Course.
The relationship with this bride and groom with Neal Urban Photography would continue to grow! Family portraits would happen a few years later!
