Vivian and Eric had such an exciting wedding in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. Neal Urban Weddings was loving the photos of the resort they were sending us before arrival. The bride and groom live out of State, so we had to do a lot of Zoom calls. It was great! We really did get to know them and understand the style they wanted for their weddings. It's not always easy going to a new location. Luckily, we require to arrive 2 days before the ceremony. This gives us time if we incur any travel delays. But mostly, to walk the ground with the couple and pick out amazing locations for photos!
For Vivian and Eric, Neal Urban Photography wanted to take advantage of the large rocks on the beach. The Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos Golf Resort and Spa had a beautiful beach. It was so different than most other beach resorts we have photographed at. We were so used to white sandy beaches, like Jamaica. This beach was amazing!
After the wedding ceremony, on the Whale's Terrace, and family portraits we all headed down to the beach. This also gave the staff at Grand Fiesta and wedding coordinators flip the area. The reception was also going to be on the Terrace where the wedding took place. The bride and groom were extremely adventurous. That was one quality we really loved about them for the wedding day. They were willing to do anything. Vivian had no complaints about getting close to the edge of the rocks for some crashing wave portraits. Let's get even more fun with getting some movement with the wedding veil!
The weddings guests were crazy fun! Both bride and groom's family were ready to party and have a great time. The reception and dancing was going until 1:00 with an after party at one of the resort clubs. When doing destination weddings, Neal Urban Photography always suggests trying to get a photo of everyone present. The bride and groom had heart shaped sparklers and Neal Urban thought this would be theprefcct time to have all of the guests join under the string lights!
Neal Urban Photography met this couple while photographing the groom's sisters wedding. That took place in Puerto Vallarta Mexico at the NOW Amber Hotel. We loved being able to travel back for another wedding and reunite with this family and now Vivianne's family!
