Ending a session with this image out on the water on Lake Ontario for this senior portrait was amazing. When mom and son first contacted us at Neal Urban Portraits for high school photos we were so excited she wanted something different. Neal Urban Studio suggested the possibility of something in the water, but not in a pool. Neal Urban Photography Studio is located north of Buffalo, right down the road from Fort Niagara State Park. Lake Ontario would be the perfect location to finish up this senior portrait session.
The clients were so excited for this idea and couldn't wait. It was a gloomy day, but as the sun was setting, it peaked out just enough to get some colors in the sky. Neal Urban Portraits brought out some additional lighting to create a more dramatic vibe.We did this same pose without the swim cap and goggles as well. It was ok, but didn't tell this varsity swimmers story. We wanted him to look more "bad ass!"
