This destination wedding was amazing! Jaclyn and Jamin flew us to the Royalton White Sands Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica! It was a gorgeous location. This was our second time photographing a wedding in Jamaica, so we knew we were going to capture gorgeous images. We also knew that it wasn't going to be too difficult to fly with our camera gear. There are times when travel is very tough and we can't bring everything we need through customs. Not when traveling to Jamaica! The people are so nice! We just said we were here for a wedding and we were on our way!
November was a great time to be in Jamaica. The big day was November 8th, but we were there for about a week. I guess I should mention that Jaclyn and Jamin are our cousins! This did not mean it was a vacation for us either. It actually makes it a little harder. They want us to enjoy and be with the family. But we have a job to do and do not rest until we get everything!
This image you see on the Thank You, was taken right after the ceremony. It took place during sunset right on the water. There was a long stone dock with an open gazebo facing the water. During family photos, we needed to take a quick time out and take advantage of the amazing sunset that was happening! There was no passing or waiting on this one.
After saying, I do, and being announced to the guests, the newlyweds made their way back down the aisle as husband and wife. It was a quick, look back at the camera, action shot. Their faces say it all! The genuine smiles and happiness pouring off of them is beautiful!
I think the happy couple picked the perfect photo to say Thank You to all of the guests that traveled to Jamaica to celebrate with them. For us, the kind words they said, just made this wedding that more special to us.
