This family session was amazing! Neal Urban Photography loved the idea mom had. Neal Urban Studio had already photographed her son for a studio portrait. They also joined Neal Urban Portraits for our annual Christmas Sessions a few years prior. The main focus was always on her son. It was time to change that.
Mom told Neal and Danielle Urban she wanted something formal. But dark and artistic. She referenced an Adam's Family like vibe. She was going to wear a black gown and her son in a tux. When they arrived to the location, both mother and son looked red carpet ready! They looked amazing!
Neal Urban Portraits treated this family session like an in studio session. Studio and off camera lighting was brought to the location. This was an abandoned building in DeVeaux Woods Stat Park. Most people wouldn't even know it was there. But, Neal Urban Photography loved the doors. The entire session didn't move much from this area.
Since it was just mom and her son for this family session, Neal Urban did a lot of solo portraits of the son. How could we not. Look how handsome he looked. He had the most amazing eyes. Neal Urban posed him like the little gentleman he was. Behind the scenes her was your typical little boy, running around and being silly. When it was time for him to be in a photo, he snapped right into model mode!
Neal Urban Collection designed a custom album for this family. The album turned out so good. Mom loved every single image and could not believe how good everything looked. The next family session was already being planned and ideas flowing before she left her viewing!
