Liam's first birthday session was amazing! He was one of the first sessions we had in our home studio. We did his parents (Nina and Greg) engagement session, wedding photos, maternity, newborn, and now first birthday! Nina sent over the outfit she wanted Liam to be in for the session and we took it from there.
We had the idea ready for the cake smash part of the session, but weren't sure at first what we wanted to do with portraits. Once we saw the outfit in person, we knew we had to use our home library for his portraits. We sat him in one of the leather chairs and he started to laugh. We had some rolled newspapers in the room and it was perfect with his outfit! Look at the smile! We could not stop laughing with him. Cute little paperboy!
Liam was such a happy boy the entire session! There was no fussing or crying. Kids are always so unpredictable and we never know what to expect. This session was one for the books! First Birthday/Cake Smash sessions are one of our favorite sessions. The kids have little personalities and laugh and smile! They are starting to crawl and are always on the move. My favorite part is coming up with the theme for the session with the parents. We love to be creative and build sets!
