This maternity session was probably on one of the hottest days of the year over the summer of 2018. We actually moved up the session to early morning because the high was going to be over 95 degrees by noon. This was the only day the family could do the session, so we wanted to stick it out! They were such troopers. While photographing mom, we had dad take their daughter back and forth into the air conditioned car to stay cool!
We did this session at Delaware Park. They wanted a nice bright and airy feel for the little boy they were expecting. Mom had such a cute blue dress with matching flower headbands for her and her daughter. We photograph many sessions at Delaware Park, so we are always looking to find new areas to shoot in. We had beautiful lighting pouring through these trees. The natural back light from the sun just made mommy-to-be glow! We had her pick up her daughter for a cute mother daughter portrait. As mom went in for a kiss on the cheek, her baby girl looked right at us! It was precious!
We really love how all the colors are in this image. The light blues of the outfits mixed with the light green in the trees make this photo look so magical looking. This was one of many favorites from this maternity session at Delaware Park.
