The Zoratti family had an extremely hot day for this maternity session. It was supposed to get close to 100 degrees with the humidity. We actually pushed their session to early morning to try and beat the heat. We almost did! We started the session around the Rose Garden area at Delaware Park. Mom looked gorgeous in her long blue dress and matching flower headband. Her daughter (who was in the air conditioned car for a break) had a matching headband too! This was the second baby for this family and they were all so excited!
We were a little nervous how the lighting would be this early in the day. We thought it was going to be way to direct and harsh. We ended up finding some great spots like this one. We got some amazing light and airy maternity images for them. It went perfect with mommy-to-be's outfit too! The sun literally made mom glow! I love how all the colors look in this image. So simple, but so beautiful.
For being such a hot day, we got amazing images for the Zoratti Family! We did have them take a few breaks and cool down in the car! We could not wait for the travel themed newborn session at Neal Urban Studio a few months later.
