When these first time parents contacted Neal Urban Portraits for a maternity session, mom was so excited. She had a few ideas of images in mind for the shoot, but wanted them more Neal Urban style. That could definitely happen. One of the ideas was an artistic semi nude portrait. Neal Urban Studio told her we could keep it very tasteful as well.
Long, draping material was going to come into play to achieve the look Neal Urban Photography was going for. Good thing we had pink material on hand, as this couple was expecting a girl. We got mom in place and then brought in dad. Posing had to be perfect. With a few adjustments, the pose was great. Now dramatic lighting needed to happen. Neal Urban set up some off camera lighting. We really wanted that baby bump to be the main focus.
This image turned out amazing. This was one of the favorites selected from this husband and wife to go into the photo box that Urban Legend Studio was going to design. The final prints were even better than expected. Neal Urban Portraits can't wait to photograph a family session with the new baby!
