Lindsey was a stunning mommy-to-be. Her maternity session was amazing! We knew she was going to want high fashion and would have the perfect dresses for this style. We started of the session at Fort Niagara State Park. We used a lot of greenery and trees. We did more park feel for the first outfit. Then we headed down near the Youngstown Yacht Club for more artistic images.
We had some beautiful skies for this maternity session. It seems to rain a lot earlier in the day when these sessions are scheduled. Not really in the plan. but sometimes great for us because we get skies like you see in this image! Look at those colors! We went out onto one of the boat docks and posed Lindsey. It's always hands on the bump for maternity sessions. She is super tiny too! We really needed her to bend her back and pop out that belly. She had a super long train on her dress. We love those and wanted to get some movement! Once we had lighting in place, I threw up the dress and tried to run out of the frame as fast as I could. That was the plan (at first). Her dress was so springy I couldn't get out fast enough without falling into the water. We did have to get rid of me in post to get the dress perfect.
The boats, sky, and glowing mommy-to-be make this image all work so well together! We were so happy with this maternity session. There were so many beautiful images!
