Sondra is amazing to photograph. We have done a few sessions with her and her husband. This maternity session was for her second child. The first we did inside Neal Urban Studio and it was a very playful and girly session with simple back drops and natural lighting. We wanted to keep the same feel for this baby too. Sondra was pretty much up for anything. We suggested outdoors this time! Neal wanted to get a little more artistic with this maternity session. We told our ideas to the mommy to be and she loved the style. She sent over a few outfit ideas and it was all going to fit perfectly!
We had Sondra meet us in Lewiston and then we drove to this location at ArtPark. It was a wide open field with super tall grass. When the sun hits it at the right angle, it has a beautiful golden color. The weather was perfect this day. We went through everything Sondra brought and wanted to end with this outfit. I brought a few hats and other accessories to add in if we needed. She loved the hat and it would look so cute with the black tutu and striped crop! She had a nice French vibe going on. We added in the ladder for a fun prop. Then the umbrella was added in just to see what it would look like. We loved it! Everything was so simple and natural, just like Sondra!
Sondra is great to photograph! She is used to being in front of the camera. She knows how to pose. She is never stressed and always has a smile on her face!
