First looks are always a favorite for Neal Urban Weddings. This is when the bride and groom see each other before the wedding. Most couples will do this if their ceremony and reception are back to back (no time in between) and at the same location. First looks can be very intimate. The groom can let his guard down, maybe cry. The bride and groom can also have time to talk to each other. Ask how their mornings were and just be together before all the craziness happens.
Vivian and Eric did just that. The rehearsal, wedding ceremony, photos, and reception were all at the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos Golf Resort and Spa. Mexico has be a reoccurring destination for Neal Urban Weddings! A few years earlier we were in Puerto Vallarta for a wedding! The first look only included the bride and groom. The wedding party was finishing up getting ready and would join us later. This gave Neal Urban Portraits time to work with Vivian and Eric one on one and get some amazing portraits. Neal Urban Studio had planned out all the areas to use the day before. They were communicated with the wedding coordinators from Momentos Weddings and Events Los Cabos, as well as Vivian and Eric. Neal Urban tried to take advantage of the resort as much as possible. It was extremely hot that day, so we kept the bride, groom, and wedding party in the shade as best we could. We didn’t want anyone too hot for the ceremony, which was also taking place outside by the beach on the Whales Terrace.
When in Mexico, why not use the cacti for some photos! There were a lot of long hallways in Grand Fiesta and little nooks to use. Everyone was having such a great time. Neal Urban Photography was even able to capture the first look with Vivian and her father. Another emotional moment for everyone. Once we wrapped up with the portraits, it was time for everyone to get freshened up and ready for the wedding ceremony. A huge bonus for Neal Urban Photography! Our room was located steps away from the ceremony location. We were able to leave behind the ceremony camera gear. That would have been so much to carry around. To be able to grab only what we needed for each part of the wedding day was amazing!
