Christina was expecting her first baby and had been following Neal Urban Photography’s work for some time. She also knew a lot of people who had come to Neal Urban Studio for portraits. Now it was her turn. She had some great ideas and outfits for her session. She wanted something different, but magical. Neal Urban Portraits could do that!
The session started off indoors at Neal Urban Studio, located in Youngstown, NY. Christina started in this beautiful lace black dress. A great outfit to start out with some silhouettes and sexy poses! This image of her sitting on the stool was a favorite from this outfit. Much different than most maternity posing and a little more artistic. Natural light was pouring into the studio and worked out great for this portion of the session.
Neal Urban Photography continued shooting in studio for two more outfits (keep coming back to the blog to see those). Then we headed outdoors for a few shots. It was so cold and windy, working fast had to happen. Originally Christina wanted most of her session outdoors. Well, Mother Nature had some other ideas. We had to reschedule the first maternity session because a snow storm came through and travel bans were in effect. At least Neal Urban still made outside happen when she was finally able to have her session! We ended up heading about fifteen minutes from Neal Urban Studio to Bond Lake State Park for a winter wonderland vibe!
After the images were complete, Neal Urban Photography designed a beautiful custom photo box for Christina’s maternity session. Christina came to the studio, picked out her favorites, and is going to have something amazing to display in her home for her maternity session. She can even pop the prints in frames, or give some away as gifts!
