Ally and Alex had such a great day for a wedding in August of 2021! Neal Urban Photography had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session in 2019 at Whirlpool State Park in Niagara Falls. Having photos taken along Lake Erie was for their wedding day was going to be such a nice contrast from their fall engagement portraits.
The wedding day started out at the Groom’s parents home for his getting ready. Everyone looked amazing. Neal Urban Studio was able to capture some great images of the Groom and his family, as well as some group portraits of him and his Groomsmen! Then it was onto the Bride’s parents house for her getting ready. What a fun group of Bridesmaids! The music was blasting and everyone was having a great time. Neal Urban Photography grabbed some quick portraits of the ladies and some group photos of the Bride and her family!
Next stop was to St. Joseph University Parish on Main St. in Buffalo. After the vows and family photos, the wedding party headed to Gallagher Pier right outside downtown Buffalo, along Lake Erie. Temperature was perfect and there were gorgeous clouds in the sky. Time to send the wedding party back to the limo to party and work one on one with the newlyweds. Ally had such a beautiful wedding dress, with super long train. Time to take advantage of a back of the dress photo. Alex was a lover of architecture, so another stop on the way to the reception was at the Old Post Office (now part of Erie County Community College). Neal Urban Weddings decided to just have the Bride and Groom hop out for this one. The building is stunning. We were all so happy we took the time to stop.
Wedding cocktail hour and reception at 500 Pearl: Forbes Theater in downtown Buffalo. Another great location for architecture. If you have never heard of it or seen photos, think of a mini Shea’s. Entertainment provided by Party of Nine Band and Toy Brothers Photo Booth.
Ally and Alex are both Doctors and have such kind hearts. Neal Urban Collections designed a custom wedding album for this lovely couple. While finalizing the details, Ally and Alex decided to give both of their parents copies of the wedding album. What a great gift their families will cherish forever!
