Our Lady of Victory Basilica in Lackawanna NY is one of the most beautiful churches to have a wedding ceremony. It looks like a church you would see in Italy. It is breath taking.
Nicole and Dan had their ceremony here! Most brides and grooms want to stay at this church as long as they can for photos. There are so many places to take advantage of here.
This image was done right outside of the basilica. Neal wanted a really wide angle to get a good part of the church in. He had the groom lean the bride back and go in for a kiss. Nicole dropped her bouquet down and leaned back. When Dan put his arms around Nicole he grabbed her veil. A gust of wind picked up part of it and this happened. It was beautiful! This was the first wedding Neal fell in love with cathedral length veils.
Neal turned to image black and white for more drama. The bride and groom loved it so much, they used it for their thank you card! We love to see couples using our images for thank you cards. They get sent out to so many people. It's great in case any of the guests are engaged or going to be. They can just ask the bride and groom who their wedding photographer was!
After the ceremony, the wedding party went down to Woodlawn Beach State Park for photos. The reception was held in the golden ballroom at the Statler in downtown Buffalo!
